I started budgeting after I grew tired of lifestyle creep quietly eating away at my finances. Budgeting didn’t just help me control my spending—it pulled me out of the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle and gave me a financial confidence I never thought I’d have. That confidence sparked a passion to help others get their finances on track, too.

I feel like so many people avoid talking about money, which often leaves us feeling behind in life or drowning in debt compared to everyone else. But the more we open up, the more we realize we’re often facing the same struggles. So, I’m putting my finances out here on the internet—warts and all—in hopes it inspires you to focus on your own financial journey.

It’s easy to want to keep up with the Joneses when social media and friends make it look like everyone else is crushing it. But remember—we’re all at different points in life. Someone constantly jet-setting could either have earned true financial freedom through hard work, or they could be buried in credit card debt. And honestly, you probably won’t know which is true.

My goal with this community is to help you not be the friend who vacations on credit card debt. Instead, I want you to travel because you put in the work to be financially free—and then share your story to inspire others to do the same.
